Reverence

Lucy was only meant to dance in the world of Everen once. Now she may spend eternity there.

A gifted ballerina with little to her name, Lucy has spent her life dancing beside her closest friend Sophia-a princess who has everything she does not.

When the two are given the chance to perform in a world beyond their own, she expects only one extraordinary night beneath unfamiliar stars.

Then she misses the portal home.

Stranded in a realm where the beautiful is often dangerous and the impossible is commonplace, she does the only thing she knows how to do.

She dances.

Night after night, beneath floating candlelight, crowds gather to watch the human ballerina perform. Whispers of her talent spread beyond the theater, reaching creatures who have lived far longer than she can imagine.

And in the shadows, something ancient is watching.

For centuries, Sevrin has known neither peace nor hope-until her.

Now every cold day brings dreams of the dancing ballerina. Every night draws him back to the theater. And with each performance, remaining in the darkness becomes more difficult.

She is searching for a way home.

Sevrin has no intention of letting her leave.
