Florence was there or Carl when his parents fought and Carl was there for Florence when her dad died. Carl was once again taking care of Florence. Teaching her to fight. Carl's dad, Rick, is a sheriff so carl knows how to survive and fend for himself. Carl's mom, Lori, had always made sure Florence had everything she needed.
