Princess Dawn has always lived in the shadow of her sister. Her sister was the model of a perfect princess, and soon, maybe a perfect Queen. 

Dawn doesn't care about the throne, she's fighting her own war--protecting the third faction and joining the Rebellion, an act that will take down the King and Queen to make everyone equals.

As a last chance to save the kingdom, the King and Queen declare Dawn the next in line to the throne to spite the Rebellion.

As Dawn learns what really goes on under the King and Queen's false pretense, she fights even harder for the Rebellion with the help of a new friend.
