Prologue:
Here’s what you should know, there are things no one understands about life. Each family has their secrets, and sometimes these secrets get way out of hand. Keeping secrets can be difficult for most people, others it’s kind of easy keeping their mouth shut. It just so happens that these two families have secrets that could change everything they once thought was true.
The first family, the Scott’s, this particular family does things no normal family would do. They kill supernatural creatures such as werewolves, vampires, demons, witches, etc. Hunters would be the title for this family. Mr. and Mrs. Scott have two kids, Becca and Hardin. Hardin is different from his mother and father as well as his sister. Killing supernatural creatures is what his family does for a living, but he does not agree with what his family does. He is against it. What happens behind closed doors of the Scott’s household, can never be forgotten or unseen.
The Barrlow’s, they aren’t your typical everyday family. Throughout their generations this family has kept their bloodline a secret. Mr. and Mrs. Barrlow have four kids, Katerina and her three older brothers. Katerina and her brothers share a different curse, with craving blood every second of the day. Alpha blood lies within Katerina and her family. Her brothers have different Alpha blood than anyone else in their family.
Katerina and Hardin have two separate lives, but they will soon understand their meaning in this world. Drastic times will separate them, but they will always find their way back to each other.
