Swing and the Single Mom

Miranda Santana was just 15 years old when she and her then-boyfriend Tremaine Neverson had their daughter, Nia. Unable to handle the stress of teenage parenthood, Tremaine abandons them both leaving Miranda to raise their child when she's only a child herself. Years pass, DeVante Swing is now a reclusive producer trying to leave his bad boy past with Jodeci behind him whilst helping Miranda raise Nia and Tremaine is now known as Trey Songz, a successful R&B singer with money and hoes galore. Trey has tracked Miranda down and wants to be Nia's father. But that doesn't really sit well with DeVante, who as far as he's concerned IS Nia's father.
