during the War for Cybertron, the Autobots (led by Optimus Prime) build a ship known as the Ark to escape the planet and the Decepticons (led by the tyrannical Megatron) but the Autobots are followed by them thanks to Shockwave creating a ship from Trypticon's corpse: the Nemesis as the Autobots and Decepticons fight but both ships crash to Earth, most notably Chicago.
