A fantasy story set in earlier times where the dead are sent back to earth to become guardians of the living, only appearing in times of great need, and then staying permanently. Armed with wings, armour and mighty weaponry the Guardians take a big part of the battleground in these war riddled times. The protagonist is a troublemaking young adult by the name of Cayden who finds himself against his own city, run by the manipulative tyrant King Alistair II. The city is falling apart and its citizens slowly growing wary, the tyrant does everything he can to keep order, and more importantly, his throne. Nothing will get in his way.
