The Fifth Day

At 12:06 AM, the world of Ravenwood Criminology student Elena Thorne shatters into a blood-soaked nightmare when a midnight call reveals her mother, Margaret, has been brutally slaughtered in their Ashbourne home. Driven by raw grief and her sharp forensic training, Elena returns to her hometown to decipher the horrific language left behind in high-velocity arterial spray across the walls.
Stepping in as her guide and protector is Sebastian Cole-Ravenwood's most brilliant senior detective student, whose magnetic charm and calculated composure quickly make him her, mentor, and partner in the hunt for answers.
Together, they launch a frantic five-day countdown to piece together the slaughter, unearthing dark secrets buried deep within Ashbourne before the trail goes cold.
