Among these creatures are the half-human, Theurgists, who seek to destroy mankind and will stop at nothing to gain entrance into the terrestrial world. They are the epitome of pure evil.

Meanwhile, 22 years later, Antonio has moved on, becoming a successful, well-known Dr. in St. Pauls, Minnesota following in his father's footsteps. He carries with him a sense of emptiness. His memories of Adelyn, forgotten, but not because he chose to put the past behind him. They were taken from him.
