Victoria Manu, a free-spirited, bad ass girl gets asked to be the schools football team assistant medic. She doesn't realize that by signing up she signed up for one heck of a ride! From pranks to bets to near death experiences she has the time of her life. She makes new friends and with the help of her over protective brother and already close to besties they help her realize that there's nothing to be afraid of, especially when it comes to love.
Que Alex Porter, a head strong young man who knows what he wants. The lead lineman on the team and quarter back wants nothing to do with the new medic, expect if he's dying, which he isn't. Only to prank her with the rest of the boys and have fun with that little curly-haired girl. He's known her all through high school and they have never really been close friends and he's been fine with that, but soon he's going to have to keep telling himself just that.
The Lindell Lions will have to keep on trucking and will soon find out what true friendship means, even if that means losing a few on the way. The boys will also figure out that if you mess with the wrong girl, prepare yourself for hell on earth, but will love her anyway, and those that mess with her, well prepare yourself for some pain. Stay on the ride with the team and you too may learn something new. You'll cry, you'll most definitely laugh and who knows? Fall in love? It's magical, who knows what will happen.

Anthony stops at my bare shoulder and leans down to press a hot kiss onto the skin. "You can't say things like that.." He delivers another, this one to my collarbone and making my words grow weak, unconvincing ... even as they come from my own mouth. "We're supposed to be ... friends." After being burned, both physically and emotionally by her ex-boyfriend Rudy in her senior year of high school, Beatrix's trust in people is low. That is, until she transfers to the esteemed, private Highland University. It's a fresh start to give the girl what she wants most: A shot at normalcy. The plan is simple .. just keep her head down, study her ass off, try to become a functional person once again and hopefully make one friend or two. Everything was supposed to start over that year. She'd had high hopes of starting anew and faithfully prepared to blend in to the background. And the day goes well. Until she sits down in Spanish, where she meets Anthony Gamaro.
