Micah is from Edmonton but moved to a small town called Kamloops. She is going to her grandma's house for the summer after finishing grade 8. She can't wait to finish, because first of all grade 8 is kinda boring, and all the older kids tease her. Micah is just glad to get away from having to deal with all the stress she has at home. She doesn't have the strongest connection with her grandma but that's also one of the reasons she going to visit her at john lake. Once she gets to the lake, Micah finds that something weird is going on, but decides to ignore it. When she finally goes to sleep after a long day, her life gets turned upside down. And that's when the fun begins.......
