SLAYING IN SILENCE

In a world where humanity is gifted with extraordinary Powers, becoming a Defender is more than a career-it is a calling.

For generations, four Powers have been known: Strength, Magic, Summoning, and Elementals.
Each person has been blessed with one of the four. But everything changed when a sixteen-year-old wielder showed the world she could wield all four and discovered something thought impossible: Light and Darkness, an entirely new Power.

Alongside four other extraordinary wielders, she became part of the legendary "Sect 5", the five strongest wielders the world had ever known. Yet they never sought fame or recognition. They protected humanity from the shadows, becoming legends whose identities remained unknown.

To thirteen-year-old Vance Sterling, one of them became more than a legend.

She became his reason to dream.

Raised in a small village with no wealth or connections, Vance dreamed of becoming a Defender after witnessing a Slayer in action. Despite his family's doubts, he trained relentlessly under his uncle, determined to become someone who could stand between ordinary people and danger.

But the world of Defenders is far different from the one Vance imagined.

The people he meets will challenge his beliefs. The battles he faces will test his resolve. And as his journey unfolds, Vance may discover that the legends he once admired are far closer to his story than he ever imagined.
