Bethany Benneht had it pretty good. She lived a normal life of homeschooling and spent her days chatting with flowers and working on the farm...Until one day, all of that changed. With a new loss in her life and new feelings surfacing, all the while, stressing to keep her secret hidden, she was ready to give in.
"I felt strong hands catch me and I let them hold me as my tears continued to flow. Those arms rocked me and held me, rubbing my back, kissing my hair. Soft words of comfort passed from familiar lips.
The best friend I could ever ask for and only person who knew everything about me was with me.
The way I saw it, he felt my pain and followed me here, aware that I could have wanted space; aware that I may have not wanted to see anyone. But he knew I needed him. He knew that I would always need him. He knew that I would and could always rely on him as a friend, an ally, and a beholder of all but my darkest secret."
