Josie has been moved from foster home to foster home most of her life. When she finally starts to settle down she is suddenly yanked from her home and thrown into a new one. With only nine months left until she turns eighteen she is desperate to finally get out of the system. She soon finds herself doubting her original feelings as her new family teaches her more about love and happiness then she ever thought possible.
Ryan is finally happy; he is a foster kid his family treats him like one of their own until everything suddenly changes. Out of the blue Josie arrives bringing with her all those horrible feelings when no one wants you. Ryan finds himself spiralling out of control, slowly losing himself to the mind numbing depression he just overcame. But salvation comes in unlikely forms and he soon learns that love blooms in unlikely places...
