Cassie thought the solution to her problem was simple. A love potion - inspired by her English project, made with the help of her genius little sister, and finished with a dash of magic from her friend Katarina - could make her best friend, Bobby, fall in love her. At least that was the plan.
The potion works perfectly - just not on Bobby. And when the potion ends up in the lunch of everyone in Aura junior high, Cassie has to deal with her heartbreak and the absolute chaos of a school in love.

Her popular sister has dumped her equally popular boyfriend for the school's biggest nerd, the principal just might be dating the basketball coach, and Bobby is dating Cassie's least favourite classmate. Everyone seems to be in love with the wrong person. The whole school is out of control and it's Cassie's job to fix it.
