War. One act of violence tore families apart and sent royalty into hiding.
Fleeing from the burning ruins of her home, Princess Katrina and her mother are forced into hiding, leaving behind all that they knew only for it to be taken away again. Left alone and afraid, an incident forces the very young princess to lose her memories and forget all about who she is and where she belongs.
Discovered by a woodsman and his son, she becomes a member of the family. Raised with love and care, she yearns to run free in the forest until one day men come searching for the lost princess. An attack on her family sends her deep into the forest where all her troubles seem to begin.
Now she is trying desperately to get back to where she belongs. She will encounter many difficulties but no matter what she keeps trying to be true to herself and find her own way home.

All of this story is my own work, stemming from a short story I wrote for a fb game competition back in 2011 which is the only story that should have similarities!
Some chapters have had a little editing done but most are still in their original form.

But i still hope it interest you :) this story is inspired by the show 'Once Upon a Time' but this is my characters and their storyline. there will be pop ups of the Characters from the show 'Once Upon a Time' Princess Evalina of Sintra City not far from the Enchanted Forest. she is the second child of King Garadix and Queen Clarissa. she is their precious pride and joy. she has an older brother named Jexter who is her best friend. and loves spending time with her. along with his one true love who is an only child and loves to hang out at their kingdom. and a special Knight in her life. who she helped become who he is today. but he did all the hard work. she just pushed him to do so. Lynx Dame the boy she falls in love with. and who falls in love with her. and they have to fight for their love. instead of her marrying a Prince to save her kingdom a new friend helps her find another way. and then it all backfires for her and she gets banished from her kingdom along with Lynx and they find themselves somewhere they aren't familiar with. but see familiar faces. they help them get their kingdom back. and then they live happily ever after with one another.

She'd spent many years playing in this forest as a child. While Selene had enjoyed her novels in the warmth of the house, a blanket wrapped around her narrow shoulders, Sidra always came home covered in mud and scrapes from hours out in the wilderness. She'd take an axe out into the forest and pretend to fight off monsters, the terrifying Mystics that her grandmother had told her stories about. She'd pretend to fight Lycans, knocking out their massive teeth one by one. She'd stand atop rocks and throw her axe at the trees, pretending they were wood nymphs come to steal her away. She'd always return home and tell Selene about the monsters she'd fought that day, spinning together a story of courage and bravery for her little sister. She felt that pain in her heart again as she thought of those times. Through the years, she'd stop going into the woods to play, and she'd instead find stories for Selene. Books of all sizes and shapes, no matter the content, because it made her feel close to her sister just as she had before her parents died. She thought of her family now, how she was all alone. Her parents had been gone for years, her grandmother, and now even Selene was missing somewhere. She needed to find her sister, she couldn't lose the last bit of her family. **Complete
