Any normal human being would be smart enough not to go past the "employees only" sign at the NASA headquarters. Well, my friends and I are far from normal and most of us are somewhat intelligent. I warned them but no, they ignored me... Again.
I'm Kassidy Hayven, 14 and slightly too curious about fantasy stuff and whatever. I'm basically obsessed with science and art. Anyways, as I tell this wonderful story of how we ended up in Galileo's discovery, Blaize is choosing this moment to tell me a squid is eating his face. Gotta go, bye!

My brother the 10 year old genius
We're about 4 years apart, he's only 10 years old and still the smartest person I know. I'm 14 years old, and starting my first year of high school. And may I just say, what a great way to start the year off by first having all the parents be abducted by aliens. Compared to the rest of our family it makes me feel stupid, but then compare me to our parents and my IQ goes from stupid to at least average. Our mom is pretty smart, my dad isn't that smart, and sounds like he really only cares about ducks. People make fun of him for being so smart, but I love him, most days anyways. He's my best friend and he says I'm the coolest big sister he's ever had, to be clear I'm the only sister he's ever had. He has one of those space HQs one of those bigger on the inside tiny on the outside, and invents all and everything. Including our dog, I'm allergic to anything that sheds, but have always wanted a pet, so he made me one himself. I just wish he'd ask me first before he tests his experiments on me. Growing up, I always thought that there was something terribly wrong with me. Because while everyone else had no problem blindly following orders, I had always been more curious. I realized I wasn't the only one when I met my friends. We came up with a whole plan to wait until graduation and then leave. We were so close, until it all went backwards. All this time we thought that it was unlivable atmosphere outside of the barriers. That no one else dared to be curious. Turns out there was a real good reason for that.
