Jane is the average teenager, struggling to do well in High School so that she can get out the small town confining her and make something of herself. Rick is the Marketing Manager for a large chain of fast food restaurants. He lives in an affluent community and enjoys the perks of being rich, which includes a lot of one night stands with beautiful women and a few hazy nights here and there. What do they have in common? Well on October 11th, 2015, they, along with half of the earth's population, became vampires. The disease had been carried for centuries, lying dormant until the time was right. Follow the accounts of Jane, Rick, and two others as they try to adjust and survive in the New World, where legends are reality, and everyone has a few skeletons in their closets.

The losses they face will only make things tougher but they soon learn that one of the biggest faults in life is sacrifice. And maybe a little fear.
