Just some little crush.

There is a girl that likes a boy, her crush. She's only spent a year at the school district where she met this boy and she may be moving after the year ends. The girl ends up leaving for a couple of years. Then the boy and the girl meet up. They talked for a while and exchanged phone numbers, addresses, etcetera. Later on they got together, they got married, and started a family. No one ever would've suspected anything like that would happen.
