I rolled my eyes. "If you're a genie, does that make me Aladdin?"
"God, you're stupid."
I snorted. "Says the guy who thinks he can grant wishes."

Who would've thought that dusty old books weren't the only thing hiding in the attic?
Unfortunately for her, having an all powerful genie hiding out in your bedroom doesn't make your Physics homework disappear...

"Do you remember calling me 'mate?'" he asked softly, pushing her wild curls away from her face. She blushed deeply, but he wouldn't let her look away. "You heard that?" He nodded with a smile. She set her jaw and once again managed to look down her nose at him while staring up at him. "Well... well, I'm rather fond of you, Orion." He let out a relieved laugh and pulled her into his chest again. "What a relief. I was worried it was just me." He nuzzled her temple, inhaling deeply, his dragon fully at peace. The words "I love you" were right on the tip of his tongue, but he knew it was too soon for that. He would have to hold them in just a little while longer. "I'm fond of you, too," he whispered in her ear. <><><><><><><><> Skylar lived her life in fear. Fear of exposure, fear of herself, and fear of her future. It's kind of like the door handles, or a rower for a fishing rod. Except it's only the handle for a fishing rod. No rod or line. So it's basically just a fidgety piece of wood. You start turning both sides, spinning it around in your hand. "Easy there." Gally chuckles. He steps closer to you, rubbing his arm up and down your back to soothe you. "You doing okay?" "Yep." You chirp, grinning up at him. He double-checks your expression. His eye staring into yours to see how you're feeling. When he's sure you're not too stressed out, he removes his arm from you and throws a rag over his shoulder. "Okay, stick by me. Ya hyper little bunny..." Two months ago, Megan found a genie. Now, the bottle is gone, her wishes don't work, and her perfect life is collapsing. Her popularity is tanking, she's failing every class, and she's on the brink of getting kicked off the track team. She hasn't used all her wishes yet, so what's going on? When Jake finally shows back up at school, he's not talking to her; he's not even acknowledging she exists. Their relationship was just getting started, and now it might be over before it even began. Megan is spiraling. To save her reputation, her grades, and the guy she might lose forever, she has only one option: she must find who took the bottle and steal it back. She needs to move fast, before the thief uses their own wishes and destroys her chance with Jake forever. But is the culprit a stranger, or worse, one of her own friends?

"I think I'm gay." I say, leaving out the part about my... exposing dream about him last night. I watched his expression, waiting for some sign that he was angry. I waited for him to call me a faggot, to curse me off and tell me he never wanted to see me again. Instead, I was greeted with his perfect toothy smile. "That's great man, I'm of proud you." He says, patting my arm as he stuffed another cracker in his mouth. "It takes some real balls to come out to someone." He says, his beautiful green eyes blazing into mine. I felt myself become flustered at his gaze. "Uh, Yeah, Thanks." I stumbled out, "You're not mad?" I ask. His expression turns to hurt as he crinkles his eyebrows. "Why the hell would I be mad?" He asks, hesitating on the crackers and pushing them away. "I just thought-it's just- well... you just always seem so pissed when someone mentions the word gay." I spit out words, scared for his reaction. He sighs, "That doesn't fucking mean I hate gays. Normally when I do that it's because someone's using the word 'gay' to hate on them, it just pisses me off, you know?" He asks, bringing the crackers back into his lap and biting into them. "Plus-" He adds on, "You're my best friend, if anything, you being gay is a blessing. I'll always support you." He says, glancing at me through the side of his eyes. I look away, towards the door to hide the crimson blush that I feel spread over my face. "Thanks." I all but squeak out. And that's the day I realized, I have a faint crush on my best friend. <><><><><< THIS BOOK IS BEING *MAJORLY* EDITED.
