as i daze around the always full hallways of Westside High School, i take out my phone and the time reads '8:35am'. i put it back in my pocket and keep strolling along to pass time.
as i do, my playlist reaches the end of the song. i take my phone out again and press onto my playlist named 'maroon 5✨'.
the song is 'This Love', an oldie but i like it. i then passed the one and only; Jack Finnegan Gilinksy. he's cute but he's also popular.
i look over and he suddenly looks away. i shrug it off and fix my flower crown.
