Katrina Pierce was a seventeen year old werewolf with a loving family and a bright future. One night the pack is woken by screams and howls. Both of her parents run to battle and Katrina follows. Without notice a rogue jumps from behind and attacks her. Katrina's mother runs to her, fighting the rogue with her father close behind. They carry her towards safety but her father is taken down. Her mother drops her, telling her to run and never look back. That was the last time she ever saw them. Katrina was not an only child however and for the next ten years her older brother blamed her for their death, believing she was only worth hate. As a result she suffered multiple beats and assults but never once retaliated. On the day of the Alpha's birthday she finds her mate but things change when she is rejected. Not being able to cope with the pain that follows, she runs away. Two years later she has settled with another pack and is finally happy. Over the years she has grown strength and confidence.
