In a person, light brings hope, and hope brings light. One rarely stands without the other, and it is impossible to fully separate the two.

Unfortunately, it is all too easy to lose hope; to lose the light. Pain, lies, rage, and powerful crushing emotions tear apart any good found in the universe. Not even beings who think themselves superior can escape the destruction of all the negative energies there ever were, and ever will be.

Anything, and anyone in this universe is helpless when the seeds of darkness are subtly planted within them. Negativity will reign supreme if they cannot fight the fruit of despair, and it is a losing battle.

They can't hold onto something who wants nothing to do with you. If anything, all they can do is cry out, and beg for them to even consider anything to do with those desperate souls.

But that does not always work. No matter how desperate they are, how much they need to cling onto hope, they will lose everything if their faith wavers.

These beings... these people... they are losing hope with every passing day.

They are losing the light.

We have been taught we are the only ones that can hurt ourselves. We are the only ones that could end this Earth. We have been taught wrong. There are forces surrounding us, controlling us, watching us and making sure we fail as a race. There are also forces helping us be better, guiding us towards a more enlightened present and future and both forces have been around us forever. But what if these forces are and have been in a war for thousands and thousands of years. On one side, they want to slave us on the other they need us to be prosperous and reach happiness with ourselves and our lives. What if Angels were just like us? They have their strengths we have our own. What if they had the same issues as we do? Up there or wherever they are coming from. We have a mission in this lifetime, they have the same mission through all their existence. We change our mission with every lifetime, they don't. This would make some Angels feel anger for humankind and there are those who see it as the Father's command and wish and comply just as they were told to do. It is written they had a weakness for human females and it is also written they procreated with them. This story is about the first Angel born from a human female and an Angel who has lived among us since the beginning of time but we have come to the end of times and with it, Angels, the ones on our side, the ones against us, the ones who don't care, and us humans, are facing the end of existence right now.

"Goddess," he begged. "Please help me protect my people." "God," Another one prayed in the front seat of his truck. "Please help me keep my kids safe." "They're all I have left." They both spoke in unison, reaching the ears of their respective deities. They were both some of the strongest men of faith, going through so much hardship. While one tries to protect their home, another seeks to find a safe one for his family. "I believe it's time," She spoke to the woman next to her. High in the sky they floated, their dresses dancing in the moonlight. While her dress was one with the beams of soft white light, the other woman had a dress of gold, showing the sunlight that she mainly stayed in. Her wings were pure white, her hair a vibrant red. She had much color, while she kept with the soft colors of the moon, her own hair white and long, soft as silk. "I can't promise that it will be perfect in the beginning," the angel spoke, looking down at the man in the truck. "But he is of a kind heart, even if it is untrusting at first." "I'm sure Declan can handle that," the Goddess of the Moon smiled at her. "Out of all the challenges he has faced, I'm positive that this won't be difficult for him to achieve." "Out of all the challenges that my soldier has faced," the angel grew a worried look. "I'm worried that this might be the most difficult." *** Wolf Peak has many tales of good and bad, but never has it struggled as much as it was right then. At this point, they're willing to take any chances they can to save their residents from evil in the forests. Even if that means trusting a new family coming into town. With clashing religions and trigger fingers, both men are in for a bumpy ride.

When no good deed goes unpunished... Created by the Moon Goddess to protect her wolves from predators and those in power, the magical Mahani wolves should live idyllic lives, but reality is cruel. In the aggressive world of werewolves, anyone who interferes with the power of a pack (or the humans) will receive a punishment far greater than the crime--even if that entity is helping others. In return for this help, the werewolves and humans hunt, torture, and kill the Mahani, stealing their children--the list of abuse continues. However, nothing can stop these wolves from helping those who need them. So what happens when the tribe protecting Europe realizes the Moon Goddess has several of their fates intertwined within a wolf pack? Will the abuse override the matebond, or will this pack be able to handle the power and stigma that comes with being mated to a Mahani wolf? ------ This story is a paranormal/fantasy dark drama. Hunter Anther was never good at hiding his feelings, that's why he couldn't hide that he was damn gay. And being part of one of the largest packs to ever exist, he became an abomination. Even to his own family. Everyone hated him, everyone bullied him. He though maybe after meeting his mate, girl, or boy he would be alright and try to live the rest of his life like how he wanted. But the thing is he was unsure if he will get a mate. The moon goddess wasn't fond of him because in addition to being an outcast, he wasn't blessed with a wolf. What will happen when his future Alpha, aka biggest bully and former friend turns out to be his mate. Will he accept and care for him or make him lose the last bit of hope he had? Is he strong enough to withstand the pain and struggle thrown at him and make a living out of it? *** "I didn't mean it.. I.. I was young and ignorant..." he tried to explain while clenching my hand, I looked at him in disgust and pulled my hand away. "What about me? How old wad I to deserve all the things you did to me?! Tell me, how was I different from you? Four years ago you rejected me after everything you've done to me. It wasn't enough punishment for you, you didn't even spare me a glance after ruining me. You left me, you are not gay." My voice trembled bit at the end but my face remained as emotionless as ever. I will never give him the satisfaction of seeing me vulnerable, not again. But why does my heart feel like it's bleeding? Shouldn't I be hating him and happy that he's on his knees begging me. So why am I tearing along with him? **** 25/02/24 - 9/08/24 **** A/N How many of us believe in second chances? Does love really conquer it all? This is not a 'love is blind' story, if you're looking for one.
