Stuck is a novel about Ella Lockwood, a unique girl with a particular love of astronomy, space and the universe. Intelligent as she is curious she dreams of one day going into outer space, that is, until she gets there and wants nothing more than to come home. Through a mysterious turn of events she finds herself on Tenalp, a mysterious planet that is ruled by a dictator. On this military obsessed planet she gets locked up somewhere she’d never thought she’d be, a zoo. People gawk and stare at her all day long like an animal. With the help of her Earth obsessed, leader-assigned handler and her own wits, will she be able to make it back to planet Earth or will she be doomed a freak show forever on this strange planet? Will she find out her handler’s secrets? And what will happen when she tells her boyfriend back home she’s in love with an alien?

It doesn't make sense. How is any of it possible? Where does the plot line link? Why care about some random teen aliens? Oh, God, why does it get dark so fast?
