Oh, hell no. SHE'S mad? He slammed the palms of his hands on the table and glared right back at her. "Business partners? Looked more like f*cking partners. Tell me, how much closer did you have to be pressed against Parker to feel his junk?" She stiffened and the fury in her eyes would've downed a lesser man. Or a smarter one.
In a second, all traces of emotion vanished from her face and she relaxed her posture, leaning against the table with her arms folded. Only her eyes revealed what she was feeling: stark anger, coldness and... amusement?
