    Ryan Jones has always been different. Ever since he was a baby, he could see clearly in the dark,  while others could not. On his sixteenth birthday, he turned into a winged wolf. After that he found out he was adopted and had the ability to master both elements Dark and Fire. 
    
    Luke Hatton, the son of Principal Roxas Hatton of Skyward Academy, was sent to pick up Ryan, the only boy ever known to be able to use more than one ability, let alone master it.
