Jamie Kain is a 16 year old boy who's only real friend is a dog he's had since birth.
Whenever he felt lost or abandoned, his dog was always the light at the end of the tunnel.

Until he dies that is.

Jamie is sent spiraling into a inescapable depression and refuses to go near animals or anything animal related, breaking down nearly every time he was reminded of his former best friend.

Years later, Jamie is finally getting over the death, but is visited by the animal God's spirit, giving him a chance to reclaim his former friends soul.

Can Jamie do it? Or will Rooney be lost forever?
