TWILIGHT SPARKLE, Princess of Friendship, has a lot on her plate as the ruler of harmony. She can barely sleep most nights with all of her royal duties. But one night she ventures into the halls of her spacious castle to discover the portal is open once again--even without her handy, portal-opening gadget. Of course she dismisses the event, but what if the worst is yet to come?

SUNSET SHIMMER, former enemy of Princess Twilight, has made a lot of new friends at Canterlot High School; even Twilight's counterpart, which she's had a few adventures with too. She used to be the bully until Twilight came along. Now Sunset is feeling homesick. She hasn't been in Equestria for a long time, and she's thinking of a short vacation to her old home. But what if her friends want to come along? And what if she has a few other followers?

FLASH CENTURY, the lovestruck student at Canterlot High, can't get his mind off of Princess Twilight. Who cares if she's a pony princess from another dimension? Flash wants her love. And that chance comes when he sees a bunch of his friends hopping through the portal to his Love's realm. What if he follows?

VICE PRINCIPAL LUNA, second in command at Canterlot High, wishes to be respected. Her sister, Celestia, is principal of the school and gets all the attention. People go to her for advice, to her for problems, to her for everything. Luna just wants a little respect. When she sees a group of rebels jumping through portals, it's up to her to stop them. Maybe she'll get some recognition after she catches these rule-flouters. But what if the vice principal turns once she realizes her power?

Join Twilight, Sunset, Flash, Luna, and much more when they embark on their third journey to other realms. What will happen? Who will turn? Who will find what they seek?
