The Legend of Sam

Samantha Haynes is a 16-year-old tomboy who goes to a rich-kid boarding school in Maine. Her mother was killed in a car wreck two years previously, and her Aunt, now her legal guardian, has sent her away to O'Donally's Boarding School. Her life is mostly normal, until one night, her best and only friend, Daphne, goes to a party.......and disappears off the face of the planet. Sam goes into the terrifying depths of the forest searching for her friend, and discovers a world that she didn't even know existed.......and an identity that she didn't know she had.
This story, told is short-story segments, describes Sam's adventures to find out who she is, and shows that even in a world that you think you know, things are not always what they seem
