When Derek Thompson's father had failed an attempt to capture a criminal bad things start to happen. One day when the Thompson's family is on a cruise liner the ship suddenly blow's up from the hull. The survivors of the shipwreck find an island not far from where the ship sank and decide to live there until they get help. Derek realizes that the people he doesn't get along with will have to team up to survive the wilderness. Will Derek manage to stay alive or will he lose the will to survive?

Matt (age 25)and Danni (age 24) have been married for seven years. They were high school sweethearts, married right out of high school, and had two kids by five years in. Everything was going great, but Danni and Matt have been drifting apart since their last child's birth. They are constantly fighting and yelling at each other. It is stressing out the kids and making things worse on these two lost lovers. Their trip is anything but relaxing since their ship has wrecked and sunk. Both of them have been injured. They manage to get themselves to a deserted island and take care of each other to the best of their abilities. Will they ever make it home? Will they save their marriage?
