Cara Winston is the younger sister of Dallas Winston, Dally, that nobody (not even he) know he had. His father left his mother pregnant with Cara and left with Dally when he was 4 in my version. After 15 years, Cara and Dally's mother set out to find the rest of their family and reunite, but when Dally meets his sister and sees his mother again, he wants nothing to do with either of them. So, Cara changes herself to fit her brothers and when she does, he seems at fault for changing her, so he decides to introduce her to the gang, where she meets and slowly falls in love with the youngest of the Curtis brothers, Ponyboy Curtis.
