Clio discovers Matty at his worst. Broken, bruised and self medicating he struggles surviving alone in the darkness of humanity with his parents looking down on him and his friends nowhere to be found. Clio helps bring Matty back to life with music, trust and her spirit. She is a girl who understands his darkness to a certain extent and this helps them link together unlike anyone before. This is the story of Matty Healy moving through ages of darkness back into the light, with a little help from new acquaintances.
