In a secluded area of the country, Hufferland, there are two different estates separated by a low hedge. A shabby little house owned by a cruel stepmother is the temporarily home of her stepdaughter Ziaa. In the other estate lies a huge mansion, owned by the King of West-Dawson kingdom himself and his handsome grandson, Prince William. Only the King of West-Dawson knows why these two homes are separated from the other areas of the kingdom. And why they are standing beside each other. Ziaa Thompson and Prince William Knight is both admitted to study in Gemfields Academy in Gemfields, Hufferland, the most prestigious school in the world. They will meet friends, and enemies - in love and in title. When The Prince and The Pauper, and the friends and enemies will meet in Gemfields Academy, secrets of the past will be revealed. An incident will bring the downfall of one of the kingdoms, and the victory of another. How will a key, a locker and a leather-bound book change the lives of THE PRINCE AND THE PAUPER?

Sixteen-year-old Andie Ilustre has mastered the art of being invisible at Ridgeway High. Quiet, artsy, and always wearing headphones while doodling in her sketchbook during lunch, she's perfectly content being the "forgotten" girl. That is, until the universe decides to mess with her peace by assigning her a locker right next to Chase Velarde - the basketball captain, the school heartthrob, and the guy quietly drowning under the pressure of being perfect. When Chase stumbles upon Andie's accidental sketches of him (she swears she was just bored!), instead of freaking out like any normal guy would, he does something unexpected, he gets intrigued. Then he makes her an offer: "Help me win the class president elections, and I'll keep your little doodle secret." What starts as a painfully awkward alliance (think locker run-ins and forced proximity) quickly spirals into something chaotic, unexpected, and surprisingly fun. But in a school where gossip spreads faster than Wi-Fi and reputations are everything, Andie and Chase are forced to ask themselves - how much of who they really are are they willing to risk for something that might actually be real? And in the end, will they survive the madness of high school and the ever-confusing game of "Are we or aren't we?"
