This is just a little prologue of a short story I've been working on that deals with an issue I know people face. This is the first story I've ever actually posted, and I would advise you not to read it if you do not agree with the LGBT community as that is one of the major points centered around this prologue. Pointing out any mistakes you see would be nice, as this is the first story I've really written. Anyways, this short centers around a confused boy named Charlie who feels lost in high school, that is until he befriends a kid in class named Adam. The prologue starts off after everything has occurred between the two, but if I decide to continue this story then the following chapters will explain what led up the the incident. My heart was racing as he took his last step, closer than ever. “I’m not gay…” I said calmly, but panicking inside. He raised an eyebrow and his lips came closer to mines. “Who said you were gay? Who even said I was gay?” Dante asked with amusement in his voice. “Why are you so close then? Like you’re going to kiss me?” I asked, trying to stay cool and not show any anxiety. “Why have you not pushed me away?” He asked me, bringing up a valid point. Why have I not pushed Dante away? ---------- Marcus is a senior in high school with a pretty sweet life. Good looks, personality, amazing musical talent, awesome friends, and a hot girlfriend. But what happens when the new student Dante starts making things a little bit more interesting for Marcus? Prepare yourself for the love, heart-break, and typical high school drama in this story of sweet, forbidden temptations.

This is a project I originally started in like.. 7th grade and I've re-written and re-written it over and over again and I'm publishing this now in hopes of it being the final version of the story. I'm not done yet and updates might be irregular, but I got a whole bunch of stuff on my plate next to this, I hope if you do give it a read, you still enjoy it. They say write about what you know, and this is sort of that, a little. My two main characters, Wylie and Elias, going over their days as trans guys in middle school; Wylie playing pretend that he's a cis-guy who has not yet hit puberty, and Elias, who's openly trans at his new school, even though he's been mentally scarred by his outings before. Elias is aroace and has depression; Wylie falls from one crush into the next and has severe trust issues and self esteem problems. The two of them have been, as mentioned, my projects for a longer time now, and I think I've got them right this time. (Use to be called 'How Did My Life Get So Complicated?" but figured it was too long and decided to shorten it and give a different description than it was before). Zeke's life was that of a simple nerd who liked being in the background unnoticed and who just happens to be gay. It really doesn't help when you have two tormentors picking on you every single day with no do anything to stop it. Since it was his senior year all he had to do was hang on for the next ten months. Everything will be alright, right? Sadly it won't because life decided to throw a curve ball at Zeke's head by adding more pain other than what his bullies do to him. He gains a friend, looses said friend, only living relative dies and added to that his first love ends before it even really begins.

You know, those things that only powerful people can make up? Yeah. Those. They were the beginning of everything that ever went wrong in my life, but also the thing that led me to the end. Although, I didn't know that at the time, so a few bruises and kisses down the line, I found myself faced with a big problem. I had to choose between three people, all of whom had been lying about everything for months. That wasn't an easy task for someone like me, but the biggest issue?
