This is just a little prologue of a short story I've been working on that deals with an issue I know people face. This is the first story I've ever actually posted, and I would advise you not to read it if you do not agree with the LGBT community as that is one of the major points centered around this prologue. Pointing out any mistakes you see would be nice, as this is the first story I've really written. Anyways, this short centers around a confused boy named Charlie who feels lost in high school, that is until he befriends a kid in class named Adam. The prologue starts off after everything has occurred between the two, but if I decide to continue this story then the following chapters will explain what led up the the incident. The legacy #1
This is a project I originally started in like.. 7th grade and I've re-written and re-written it over and over again and I'm publishing this now in hopes of it being the final version of the story. I'm not done yet and updates might be irregular, but I got a whole bunch of stuff on my plate next to this, I hope if you do give it a read, you still enjoy it. They say write about what you know, and this is sort of that, a little. My two main characters, Wylie and Elias, going over their days as trans guys in middle school; Wylie playing pretend that he's a cis-guy who has not yet hit puberty, and Elias, who's openly trans at his new school, even though he's been mentally scarred by his outings before. Elias is aroace and has depression; Wylie falls from one crush into the next and has severe trust issues and self esteem problems. The two of them have been, as mentioned, my projects for a longer time now, and I think I've got them right this time. Last year there was a incident involving a freshman and a group of upperclassmen, long story short the upperclassmen are in jail and the freshman needs help, badly. Satan has been mistreated since day one. Ever since her parents found out they were having boy and girl twins, they have been disgusted but the fact of having a girl. Her mother wants nothing to do with her and her father has been touching her since the third grade. The treatment towards her brother is nothing but kindness and he's spoiled with everything. Gabriel had been treated like a baby his whole life, not having any chores and everything he wants. His mom treats him like a baby, and loves him more than her daughter. Satan can't help but feel betrayed and sick at the treatment. Even though she should be use to it, she isn't. Satan tries her best to fit in but with her brother's popularity and her selective mutism it isn't easy making friends. Although she isn't completely anxiety ridden and still wants friends, it's hard for her since she can't speak. Satan meets her opposite, a girl named Angel. Angel is an outgoing and talkative person, looking to find friends in a new school. Satan and Angel become friends, Angel teaching her sign. They eventually lead to something more, which seems to cause more than it should. This story and it's characters are basically full of my own insecurities and fears, so yeah enjoy. If you start getting anxiety because of it I am so sorry, and know that I am here for you. I understand all the pain of bull crap so many have to deal with, on top of rigorous classes and a mental disorder. Eden is your typical American teenager... Kind of. His family hates him. He hates him. His old friends hate him. His old boyfriend hates him. Basically everyone he's grown up with in his hometown hates his god damn guts. All because he's gay, stupid right? His parents try really hard to get him to be a girl and after he got into a fight at school he has to go to detention where he meets a boy called Devin. While his own view about himself is challenged, he finds himself touching rock bottom. But Nick is just trying to be accepted as himself, Unapologetically. This is a story written for pride month 2024.
