Lucy Stevens is a ghost.
Lydia Martin is a banshee.
They're somehow connected. Lydia keeps Lucy from drifting off into oblivion, kind of like an anchor. And Lucy is more than grateful. Not long after Lydia discovers Lucy is connected to her, Lucy starts feeling things again. Happiness, anger, sadness, amusement, jealousy, betrayal, love. Just like before she died.
Just like before she became a ghost.
