The City of Farnbreth's fortunes were changing and soon Williams's blind loyalty would lead him, and those who would follow him without question, into the depths of war, to the heart of the city's survival, and the only hope for them to return home.

Unwavering conviction sends them stumbling and feeling their way through matters they know almost nothing about, and places them against Farnbreth's mightiest enemies.

Enemies who see a mighty City as their opressor but have fogotten the reason for its making and those that it protects them from. Enemies who would do a deal with the devil if it ment to win.

Take away an order and what will be there to replace it. Old ways and myths are feared but not everything of anything is as terrible as people are lead to believe.

A story about how the 'common people' can influence the greatest of events and most powerful of people.

A Kingdom Forged in Blood. A War Born of Lies. A Destiny Written Beneath the Moon.** For ten long years, the Noble Houses of Devraen and the Tribe of the Sea have drowned the North in frost and fury. What began as a single act of violence has become a war of pride, grief, and vengeance - a war no one truly understands. When the battlefield falls silent and the last embers die, Meher - the fallen heir of the Tribe of the Sea - must kneel before the king he once swore to destroy. With lives bleeding out behind him and his honor in chains, he accepts a bitter truth: Sometimes, peace demands more courage than war. But Devraen is not built on mercy. Beneath golden crowns and sacred banners, shadows move. Truth is twisted. Allegiances rot. And a serpent in black armor smiles beneath a borrowed light. As Meher and Amane uncover whispers of a hidden force - one that fueled the conflict for its own design - they must choose: Serve the kingdom that shattered them... or expose a darkness ancient as the snow, patient as the sea. Loyalties will break. Secrets will rise. And the North will learn: Not all enemies wield swords. Some wear crowns. Some offer peace. And some... are born in shadow. "This has just begun", She says with spite. "Agreed, Love", My smirk widens into a wolfish grin, "Let the hunt begin." --------------------- After a brutal 12-year war, the land of Mythrand has finally found peace among its seven races. But for Rory, one of the last survivors of his destroyed people, healing is a distant hope. Consumed by bloodlust, he seeks solace, but fate has other plans. Three years after the war, the Elders decide peace can only be secured by uniting the next generation. Rory is sent to a castle where children of former enemies now live together. Tensions run high as Rory must confront his hatred and decide if he can forgive or let resentment drive him, especially considering that his future is taken from him when he is forced into a marriage with Mazikeen, the daughter of those who destroyed his family. Amid political intrigue and the threat of a coup, Rory's journey to reconcile his past will determine the future of Mythrand. Will he rise above vengeance, or will the scars of war consume him? A tale of survival, forgiveness, and the fragile line between peace and chaos, where the children of Mythrand must shape the future they inherit.
