After a deathly accident Adrian is forced to live with his extremely abusive Uncle and his family. He had to go through a lot and has now built up walls around himself and has completely changed.

Ava is not a normal next-door girl. She has Down Syndrome but is among the rare ones who's mental growth is faster than their physical ones.

Ava is also stubborn and when she ends up stuck with Adrian she tries to knock down the walls that separate him from the world, and from his real self. Adrian tries and fails to stay away from her.
