(The rest of the prologue is in the first chapter. Please check it out!)The girl walked slowly down the dark alley, stopping every so often to look about her. She had no Light, she could see well enough without it, despite the fact that there were no streetlights. To the casual observer, she would appear as a ghostly figure, dressed in shades of black and grey. For Certain, someone to be wary of. Only her eyes showed under her hood; pulled up to mask her face, her silver hair tucked in her jacket. If it had been visible, it would have immeadiatly set her apart from the average city-goer, though the streets were clear of life. If someone had looked out a window, she might have appeared to have lost something, but that was not the case. In truth, she was searching for someone, though she was unsure why. She was searching for a man, a man with dark hair, a man who she had seen only once before, at least that she remembered. Even during their brief meeting, she had felt something drawing her towards him, as if she had known him in the past. She knew that he would be here tonight, and she knew that she had to see him. The dream visions had told her that he would come, and they had never been wrong before. But after several hours of waiting and wandering, she was beginning to think that perhaps it had just been wishful thinking. Of perhaps it was truly just a dream, not that she had ever had one before. All Rights Reserved
