The assigning happens every day, every year. When you turn eighteen you'll have your assigning tests that tell you which of the five senses is your strongest sense. The assigning tests tell you what job you'll have, what life you're gonna live and what your future holds. But if you go against the system your assigning will be pushed, and an awful prison awaits you.

Antonia Jones is a girl turning eighteen. She lives a completely ordinary  life like every other teenager. When her birthday is a day away she wounds up in some problems with her previous classmate Rosé, that get her sentenced. She's sent away to a prison for an indefinite period. At the same time, her best friend Gordon Wyatt is dealing with some problems of his own. Will they ever find their place in this world? Jacob Davis is what you would call a bad boy, he also is a gang-leader to the biggest gang in the world. He smokes, parties, he has dealt with gangs, basically does what some teenagers nowadays do. He also hides behind his hood. He only talks to his best friends. He doesn't like social interaction. No one one has seen his face besides his friends. He doesn't date. He hates it. He doesn't like to be tied down. That is until he meets the shy, fierce, nerdy girl, Alex. Something about her long brown wavy hair, piercing blue eyes, and freckles, made him go crazy. He wants her to be hid. He is protective and possessive over her. He hates it when other boys talk to her.

Once in the facility, Evita is tagged as a test subject and loses all say over what happens to her body. She has to escape. By the time she comes up with a plan there is only one problem. Evita isn't ready to leave.

There is slight 'bullying' of the male protagonists to the main character. But obviously, they end up falling harder. ;)
