“You see darling, this city is run over by this thing they call ‘society.’ Some say it’s the government and others say they’re a force with no physical existence or some sort. Anyways, if you were not part of society, you didn’t belong anywhere at all. If you weren’t part of society, they say they judge the others with a lot of hatred. You can say I’m part of that other group. I never really believed in the system at all. I said to my nurse back in my home that this city is run by wild imaginations and silly people."
"Imagination City" tells the story of a young, isolated girl who finds out what the world truly looks like beyond the boundaries of her secluded, country home.
P.S: This short story was a writing project I did for my English class but I figured that I should publish it on my personal Wattpad. Enjoy!

And about getting away from you I'm never going to do that." He replied. His voice so deadly scaring me to life but I wasn't the one to back out. "I'm not your wife" I said clenching my teeth at him. As a small boy no one really knew him. He was constantly moving from city to city he felt alone. His mom and dad split only when he was a baby so he didn't know his father and didn't really care but his mother passed so he lived life alone. My heart was thundering, not just from terror, but from a dark, shameful need to be claimed by the very man who was threatening to destroy me.
