Escaped

This book is about the life of Kay Summers. She lives in New York with her foster parents. She has dealt with moving around between foster homes since 11. One day she tries leaving to get away from her foster dads beatings and his drunken life but is risked being caught and returning to juvy or even prison. She is caught and is sent to juvy for a few days but the courts decide to send her somewhere. They send her to a horse ranch in California who takes kids in that are like her. She will find love, friendship, and people who care but will she stay?
