Maeve Weisz is a nineteen-year-old university student who has lived in Budapest, Hungary all her life when she meets a certain royal whom the public has no knowledge of; 22-year-old Prince Noah Åkerlund, the firstborn son of the King of Sweden and an illegitimate child, therefore prompting the Royal Family to hide him from the watchful eyes of the public. 

As she finds out more about him and takes a visit to his home, Drottningholm Palace in Sweden, she discovers she's a descendant of a Danish king. With the uprise of the people of Denmark demanding a change in rulers, she's set to take over the throne. 

Will she be able to meet the standards of her new people and be able to juggle her new life as a Queen with her budding relationship with Prince Noah, or will she crumble under the pressure?
