Emilia and Mario Ferron learned early on that their disabilities in society were a hindrance - or so they were told - which only made it easier for Emilia to make the move into her twin brother's apartment. It wasn't as if they minded being closer; it just would have been nice not to be treated like children who couldn't take care of themselves.
Of course, neither twin had expected to get caught in a devastating car crash, being thrown into another world, and suddenly being yanked into a life-changing quest that may or may not save this new world.

Alex wasn't really special, he was just like every normal young adult in their early twenties. He worked as a cashier in a grocery store and somehow managed to make a living in a small apartment. He mostly games to pass his days and nights, so it was safe to say his family wasn't all that proud of him. But will his life remain so normal when he suddenly finds himself standing as one of the last humans on their planet? Will his life remain boring when he finds out about hybrids, mystical beings, and magic? I've done a pretty simple desc, just not sure how to not spoil it- Welcome, readers, to a book with an accurately represented disabled Y/N! And her disability isn't just a plot convenience! What a novelty! All jokes aside, I am a disabled person, and one thing that has always annoyed me, is the lack of disabled representation in media. And when it is represented, it's often more there as a plot convenience than just for the sake of you know- just being disabled. So I decided to take things into my own hands. Yes, Y/N's disability is a part of the plot, but it is not a plot convenience. It's not thrown in there for the sake of added tension or drama. She just happens to be disabled. It will obviously be involved in some ways, as Y/N's disability (a form of cerebral palsy) does impact her life. But it won't be something that the plot hinges on- does that make sense? The form of cerebral palsy Y/N has is the same one I personally have. So anything written here is written from personal experience. So it will, inevitably, not be accurate to every person with the same form of cerebral palsy. along with that, if you aren't disabled, and want to read this anyway, and have any questions, feel free to ask me! I really don't mind answering anything you're curious about. I currently have three books in the works in this series. Each Y/N has the same disability as me, but I would really like to branch out! So if anyone who has any other disabilities or even another form of CP would like to help out, help me write an accurate character, that would be great!
