Adora called out across the ice, feeling as if she was floating on air. It was a strange sense of euphoria, the wind biting her skin and the vast sea of stars above her. It almost felt surreal. What made it even more unbelievable was the girl in front of her, chuckling as she watched Adora trip over herself slightly as she realized the weight of this experience. -------- A socially isolated girl leaves the comfort of an abusive mother to meet a world of richness, both metaphorically and literally.
