I have been mute for 6 years and still nobody knows the reason. I always keep to myself, trying to avoid looking at everyone and everything around me. It's so much easier to pretend I'm a ghost, a nobody. Sadly, some guys at school see me as a perfect victim for whatever cruel jokes they have. It isn't better at home either. Do I really have no place in this world? Even though I'm mute, can't somebody hear my call for help?
