Amalee likes complex people. She tries to hide it, but lately she's been dissatisfied with the people at her school who wear their hearts on their sleeves. Amalee needed a challenge; new personalities to figure out. She realized most people aren't as clear cut as they seem, but she wanted something more interesting. After waiting almost a year, she decided it was time to give up. There simply wasn't anybody who fit that criteria at her age. At least, that's what she thought until she met Elliot and Finn.
