What if one day, you got a mysterious package containing a letter and an...unfinished book? What if you start reading the book at you get...sucked in? Chloe didn't want this. What did she do wrong? Besides getting a new tongue piercing and 3 tattoos. Now she's at some sort of boot camp with other kids/teens like her. 
Brooklyn was bad. Graffiti, stealing, drinking, and was constantly in juvy. She just happens to also get a strange package and ends up in the same bunker as Chloe.
Hunter just turned 17. He's been told he's going down the wrong path. But who cares right? Why waste time on school and love when you could do whatever you want now that you've been kicked out. For his birthday, his uncle gave him the same exact book as Brooklyn and Chloe. Then poof! Stuck next to Blake, the guy with no story.
