My Love-Struck Mage Husband

11 parts Ongoing

I met Alaric when I was young, and later, my father arranged our marriage. I always thought he agreed only to repay my father for raising him. Handsome and powerful, Alaric was one of the most gifted young mages on the continent, destined for greatness. Countless noblewomen admired him, while I, with barely any talent, felt like nothing more than a "waste." Despite my efforts, I was only slightly stronger than the average human. Alaric was always kind and courteous, never showing impatience, even when I acted out. I believed we would live in peaceful mediocrity, and as long as he indulged me, I was content. But everything changed on our wedding day. That day, my body was overtaken by another force-my soul locked away. I screamed and struggled, but no one heard me. Another soul controlled my body, smiling and speaking, while I became a forgotten shadow, unable to control a single movement. Everyone believed I was fine, even my family and friends. Only Alaric noticed something was wrong. Without fear or hesitation, he became obsessed with saving me. He searched far and wide, even defying the entire magic world. To others, he seemed mad, even dangerous. But I knew the truth-he never gave up on me. The female lead is quite weak in the early stages but becomes very powerful later on.
