The Light From Above

Mitch Valdez was left on the streets at age 5. Since then he's learned the street and the city. Where the best leftovers were tossed, to where to get clean water, most of the time. Until one night, 5 years later, Mitch meets a boy named Jason and a boy with goat legs named Bryan. Then, his life is changed forever. He will soon realize that there isn't going back. He's been dragged into a war and a life he never wanted.
