Ross, a 17 year old boy is a mind-reader. Everything seems right apart from the fact that if his mum finds out she's go mad. You see, she's a scientist that works on the brain. She'll do tests on him. After Ross finds out that someone he knows is also a mind-reader everything gets crazy. 

His mum finds out.

Instead of cutting his brain out she gives him and his 'friend' 24 hours to run away from everything. He has to make his four year old sister realize that she doesn't need him. Even though his mind wants to leave, his heart wants to stay.

He loves his sister more than anything but he knows she'll love him more if he runs. So he does. He runs far, far away. Where hopefully he'll be free.
